This is how Rodrigo Herrera Aspra, founder of Genomma Lab, recalls the beginnings of what would later become Asepxia. At that time, Rodrigo had lost all his capital. Seeing the product’s potential, he decided to launch it through an infomercial.

When Rodrigo Herrera presented his idea to sell a dermatological product directly to consumers, he was warned that the pharmaceutical industry didn't work that way—the typical process was for medical representatives to introduce products to doctors before they ever reached the pharmacy.
The system was clear. However, Herrera wondered, “How can I wait all that time if I don’t have money for next week?”
To finance the operation, Rodrigo made a difficult decision: he pawned a watch of great sentimental value.
He quickly realized how inefficient the system was: they could only see a few doctors each day, and most of their time was spent waiting in offices. “I can't accept someone being unproductive for seven and a half hours,” he thought. So he went back to his original idea—producing an infomercial. It was a huge success and marked the birth of Asepxia.
